Graduation is one of the most important milestones in a student’s life. On Tuesday, October 6th, 2021, Premiere Academy had her 12th Graduation Ceremony where 80 students graduated in a grand style.

Premiere Academy Marks International Day of the Girl Child with Anglican Girls Grammar School - AGGS
October 11th every year is earmarked as the International Day of the Girl Child. The Day of the Girl Child focuses on the need to address the challenges the Girl Child faces, to promote girls’ empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights.
According to a report, one out of five school-going children is bullied by their peers, and 41% of the victims feared it would happen again.
Bullying is a persistent act intended to make life unpleasant for another person. It is a situation where the relationship involves an imbalance of power. This act is detrimental to children on both sides of the exchange. It causes physical and emotional harm and even triggers mental illness. Unfortunately, children are too young to exhibit resilience to the complicated psychological trauma that results in adverse effects that can be lifelong.
Emotional growth involves understanding feelings and emotions, learning how and why they happen, recognising your feelings and those of others, and developing effective ways to manage those feelings.
The future leaders of tomorrow are the children of today. Helping them understand how to ensure their positive emotional development is very important and parallel to the future of our country. Therefore, a school must stimulate curiosity in young impressionable minds and equip them with tools to be better human beings.
