  2. Write the structures of all the isomeric alcohols with the formula C5H12O.
  3. Classify them as primary, secondary and tertiary alcohols.
  4. Arrange the alcohols according to their increasing boiling points.
  5. An organic compound F with the empirical formular C5H10O has a vapour density of 43.
  6. What is the molecular formular of F?
  7. If F does not react with Fehling’s solution or Tollen’s reagent but gives a yellow precipitate when reacted with aqueous iodine, draw the structure and give the IUPAC name of F.
  8. Write an equation for the reduction of F with NaBH4.
